🔥Choking

  1. 1.Encourage the person to cough
  2. 2.Give 5 back blows between the shoulder blades
  3. 3.Give 5 abdominal thrusts (Heimlich maneuver)
  4. 4.Call 999 if the blockage does not clear

🩸Bleeding (Heavy)

  1. 1.Apply direct pressure with a clean cloth
  2. 2.Elevate the wound above heart level if possible
  3. 3.Add more cloth on top without removing the first
  4. 4.Call 999 immediately for severe bleeding

🔥Burns

  1. 1.Cool the burn under running water for 20 minutes
  2. 2.Do not use ice, butter, or creams
  3. 3.Cover with a clean, non-fluffy cloth
  4. 4.Seek medical help for serious burns

❤️Heart Attack

  1. 1.Call 999 immediately
  2. 2.Help the person sit in a comfortable position
  3. 3.Give aspirin if not allergic (chew one adult tablet)
  4. 4.Be ready to perform CPR if needed

Seizures

  1. 1.Clear the area of dangerous objects
  2. 2.Place something soft under the head
  3. 3.Do not restrain or put anything in the mouth
  4. 4.Time the seizure - call 999 if longer than 5 minutes
